The first case of mannosidosis was reported by Öckerman in 1967 (1). Since then several new patients have been found. Their symptoms resemble to some extent those of Hurler’s syndrome (2). Psychomotor retardation, slightly gargoyle-like facies, recurrent infections, and vacuolized lymphocytes are some of the more prominent findings.
