Equation of State for Fluids at High Densities — Hydrogen Isotope Measurements and Thermodynamic Derivations

  • Chapter

Abstract

The high-density properties of hydrogen isotopes H2, D2 and T2 are of current interest in energy programs. Under ERDA sponsorship [1–3] at Los Alamos, we have been developing accurate techniques for studying the hydrogens at high static pressures. Experimental data on these light simple molecules are especially valuable for testing theory.
