Abstract
A negative correlation between water hardness and lithiasis has been demonstrated in Czechoslovakia, in the south eastern part of the United States, in some regions of the United Kingdom and in Yugoslavia1−10. From these investigations we conclude that regions with soft drinking water have a higher incidence of urolithiasis than regions with hard drinking water.
