Abstract

An apparatus described in an earlier paper [1] was used in order to measure the secondary ion-emission coefficients of a 50% W-Mo alloy as a function of the energy E0 of a beam of incident Na+ ions and the target temperature. The ion beam fell on the target at an angle of 54°. The secondary ions were separated into elastically-scattered and slow ions by the retarding-field method.
