Abstract

Part II presented problems involving a single-response function within each subpopulation. The goal was to summarize the variation in this function across subpopulations. In Part III we consider both complex single-response functions and also multiple functions within each subpopulation. In the latter or multiresponse situation, one objective is to test hypotheses about the functions within subpopulations.
