Developing a Philosophy and Program of Pesticide Resistance Management

  • Chapter
Book cover Pesticide Resistance in Arthropods

Abstract

The primary goals of Pesticide Resistance Management (PRM) are (1) avoiding resistance development in pest populations, (2) slowing the rate of resistance development, and (3) causing resistant populations to “revert” to more susceptible levels and thereafter keeping resistance below some threshold.
