Abstract
The human placenta is a rich source of epithelial material with high transport capabilities containing the same genotype as the foetus. The CF gene is expressed in placenta which constitutes an available source of human biopsy material suitable for investigation of transport defects in CF.The human placenta is a rich source of epithelial material with high transport capabilities containing the same genotype as the foetus.
