Abstract
We have developed a method to calculate the free energy and the Green’s functions of the periodic Anderson lattice by using the cumulant expansion 1 and a generalized Wick’s theorem 2 for the Hubbard operators in the infinite-U limit. Taking the works of Hubbard 3 and Hewson 4 as a starting point we state the rules for calculating the diagrammatic contributions. We sum up some sub-classes of diagrams: the “chains” and the “chains of loops”.
