Abstract
McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) is a producer of aerospace and high-technology products, for national defense, space exploration, and information management. The corporation’s most visible current products are the F-15, F-18, and Harrier fighters; Harpoon and Tomahawk tactical missiles; MD-80 and new MD-11 commercial aircraft; Delta rocket; and the newly-won space station. Former well-known products include Mercury and Gemini spacecraft; Phantom fighter; and DC-8, DC-9, and DC-10 commercial aircraft.
