Abstract

One of the aims of environmental toxicology is to assess the human health risk created by the presence of pollutants in most compartments of our environment, e.g. air, drinking water, surface water, food, wastes etc.. Identifying and evaluating the health risk for humans is one of the most decisive steps in the development of environmental risk management.
