  • Chapter
Physics and Applications of Quantum Wells and Superlattices

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSB,volume 170))

Abstract

These lecture notes include an introduction into far-infrared spectroscopic techniques, a treatment of the dielectric response of a two- dimensional electronic system in layered structures and experimental results on characteristic excitations, e.g., 2D plasmons, intersubband resonances, cyclotron resonances and combined interactions.
