  • Chapter
Handbook of Quality Assurance in Mental Health

Abstract

This chapter is concerned with the application of quality assurance (QA) mechanisms to the planning, delivery, and monitoring of outpatient mental-health services. Although the content embraces the technology used to assess and ensure adequate quality of services in organized care settings, the particular emphasis is on strategies that show promise for use in the independent practice setting.
