Abstract

The Quasi-Elastic (linear) Scattering (QES) of light has been used for more than a hundred years for particulate diagnosis. It is particularly relevant to achieve particulate measurements (sizes, concentrations, shapes, velocities, refractive indices...) in combustion systems, and has been the object of a very large renewal of interest after the advent of lasers.
