Abstract

I feel that Dr. Mattsson’s combination of systems theory and developmental approaches provides us with a marvelously comprehensive and flexible conceptualization for understanding, preventing or treating psychosocial problems of the patient and family dealing with chronic and/or life-threatening illness.
