Analytical Aspects of the Pharmacokinetics of Psychotropic Drugs

Abstract

The present interest in the pharmacokinetics of psychotropic drugs was initially stimulated by the work of Brodie and his various collaborators.1 By definition, the science of pharmacokinetics is concerned with the transfer of drug molecules within the body, but in medicine, it is often regarded as the study of drug and drug metabolites in plasma.
