Abstract
The existence of a non-vanishing average value P of the order parameter below the critical temperature T should give rise to qualitatively new features in statics and dynamics of a variety of systems. A crucial role in this context is played by the symmetry of the space spanned by the degrees of freedom of the order parameter of n components in d dimensions.
