Abstract

Applications of photon correlation spectroscopy and angular distribution of absolute scattered intensity to the studies of dynamic and static properties of polymer solutions in terms of large scale motions, such as translational motion of the polymer coil, pseudo-gel motion and internal motion, are reviewed. In particular, the asymptotic nature of the scaling concept is emphasized with examples based on measurements of the polystyrene-trans-decalin system.
