Abstract
A Pilot Study in which 2AAF was administered in the feed of male and female C57/B6 and BALB/c mice for eighteen months established the suitability of the strain and sex and provided for prediction of the dosage-time range used in the ED01 Study. The results of the pilot study have been published elsewhere (8). Based on the Pilot Study results, the main objective, that is the validation of a chemical carcinogen dose-response curve to permit extrapolation from high to low levels of response, was determined to be achievable.
