Abstract

On the last day of the Conference, a Critical Issues Workshop was held. It was the intention of the Conference organizers that this workshop would provide an off-the-record forum at which discussions of those pacing problems impeding the confident use of ceramics in high performance engine applications could be discussed by the attendees. The workshop also provided a forum for brief presentations (both prepared and ad hoc) on specific topics.
