Abstract

In studying the pharmacological effects of a sonicated dispersion of bovine brain phospholipids on CNS, the following observations have been made: a) in animals, increase of both the conditioning avoidance response and motor activity (Toffano et al., 1976b) increase of brain glucose (Bruni et al., 1976a; 1976b) and of brain phospholipid synthesis (Orlando et al., 1976); and b) in men, decrease of prolactin secretion (Polleri et al., unpublished).
