Abstract
Although idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) has a well-defined nosologic framework, its pathogenesis is the subject of considerable discussion, especially due to the variable aspects of the morphologic lesions observed [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6].
