Abstract

Sisomicin, a new aminoglykoside antibiotic, is now beeing introduced for clinical trials in the treatment of urinary tract infections. The purpose of this study was to determine some data of the pharmacokinetics in patients with normal and impaired renal function and to develop guidlines for appropriate dosage regimens for patients with renal insufficiency and in case of hemodialysis.
