Abstract
This issue of Federation Proceedings contains the papers given at the 2-day symposium, Current Status of Behavioral Pharmacology, which took place at the Federation meetings in 1974. We have here a survey of many of the most exciting fields of this discipline, from some of its most significant practitioners. The readers will also see that the word “future” in the title of this introductory essay is most suitable, since the issues and approaches that appear in the succeeding pages surely will dominate behavioral pharmacology for at least the next few years.
