Abstract
Hyperoxaluria may be either primary, consequent to an accelerated in vivo synthesis of oxalate, or secondary, associated particularly with certain gastrointestinal diseases. Since primary hyperoxaluria 1–4 is rare, this chapter will deal principally with the more common enteric hyperoxaluria.
