Abstract
Attempts to write about the theory and treatment of any emotional dysfunction necessitate the author’s introduction of his and the patient’s beliefs. Rather than having these premises appear in the text, it is best to enumerate them at the outset so that the reader can weigh their influence upon a particular issue.
