Abstract
Dilute solution properties of high polymers can be adequately described by a two parameter1 expression containing short range and long range interaction parameters A and B respectively. In the absence of long range interactions B≡O and the solution is at the θ-temperature. At this temperature the size of the polymer coils is solely defined by A.
