Clinical Experiences of Electro-Anaesthesia (eA)

  • Chapter
The Nervous System and Electric Currents

Abstract

In our continuing studies in the fascinating field of electro-Anaesthesia (eA) at Army Hospital Delhi Cantt-10 India since 1962 as an Armed Forces Medical Research Committee Project, we worked extensively on dogs for nearly two years (Rama Rao, 1962; Rama Rao and Sitaram 1962). This enabled us to gain good experience in its technology and establish well defined clinical parameters for eA and safety factors (Rama Rao et al 1966).
