Abstract
Measurements of film density on a radiographic image lend themselves to interpretations of soil density and permit the analysis of the patterns of internal density adjustments which accompany deformation. The material tested, however, must be homogeneous and must be of a known composition, and comparative radiography must be done on equal thicknesses of sample.
