Abstract
The Stallwood jet1–3 has found wide applicability in spectrochemical analysis for the suppression of selfabsorption, stabilization of the arc, improvement of signal-to-noise, etc. For the occasional user, however, its cost or complex construction could rule out this extremely useful accessory.
