Abstract

Problems of the economics of fully rotatable and inclinable radio telescopes are examined. The dependences of the cost of the fully rotatable and inclinable parabolic antennas of radio telescopes on their weight, on the height of the antenna structure, and on the technology of the construction are analyzed. The technique of cost-estimation models of radio telescopes, with allowance for losses in designing and planning, fabrication, assembly, adjustment, and operation, is examined.
