Abstract

Until now we have tried to examine the ways that the tectonic life of a region might be connected with the formation of magmas. The question concerning the conditions that cause magmas to appear and that lead to subsequent evolution of these magmas has been left to one side. In this chapter we shall try to fill in this gap.
