Part of the book series: The Subnuclear Series ((SUS,volume 24))

Abstract

Supergravity theories emerging as the point-field limit of various superstring compactifications are considered, and the higher order corrections to the standard supergravity Lagrangians are discussed. The structure of the effective Lagrangians for the recently constructed four-dimensional superstring models is also reported.
