Nematode Infections of Man: Extraintestinal Infections

  • Chapter
Chemotherapy of Parasitic Diseases

Abstract

Despite a plethora of anthelmintics active against the nematodes parasitizing the human gut, as illustrated in Chapter 12, far fewer drugs have been or can be used in the treatment of those nematodes that parasitize other organs. This chapter deals with the chemotherapy of diseases caused by such nematodes.
