Criteria for Temperature Multiplicity in Fluidized Bed Reactors

  • Chapter
Fluidization

Abstract

The behaviour of a fluidized bed reactor for a nonisothermal first-order reaction has been represented in a compact form involving two groups of parameters. The necessary and sufficient criteria for the existence of multiple steady states has been derived in terms of these two parameters and the results are presented in graphical form for convenience of use.
