Abstract
Oligoclonal bands are usually revealed by electrophoresis on agar gel (l) or on cellulose acetate strip (2). We have used a particular cellogel, the Cellogel RS (Sebia Lab.) to explore the CSF of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) (3). The oligoclonal patterns show several fine and close bands in the cathodic part of the electropherogram. We report here an electroimmunofixation technique to study the antigenic determinants of the gammaglobulinic bands. We describe briefly the method and more details will be published further.
