Abstract
While in the preceding chapter we discussed the techniques employed for incubating cells and tissues in a suitable medium and for separating them from this medium at appropriate time intervals, the present chapter will concern the various methods applicable to the estimation of intracellular solutes, without attempting to come close to being an exhaustive survey of such methods as they constitute the subject of a number of monographs.
