Abstract
In the preceding chapter, we dealt with the scattering of electrons on the departures from long-range order in liquids. However, apart from this specifically “liquid” scattering, there is, as in crystals, the scattering of electrons on thermal vibrations, which may predominate if the melting point is high. In the present chapter, we shall consider this type of scattering.
