Abstract
The specific feature of the pathogenesis of this form of oligophrenia is the presence of a disturbance of the circulation of the cerebrospinal fluid in a late stage of the disease. The presence of this additional pathogenic factor leads to specific changes in the cortical neurodynamics, and these, in turn, are responsible for the appearance of a number of additional symptoms in the clinical picture, namely changes in behavior and a decrease in work capacity.
