Abstract

This chapter is going to deal with less technical material, possibly even less factual material, and more opinion. This, of course, is my opportunity to indulge myself in speculation. (There are probably those who feel I’ve been too self-indulgent already.) It is almost obligatory to have a chapter on social or future speculations in technical books these days, but social discussions have a very solid position in the study of viral programs.
