Models of Gravity and Acceleration

Abstract

Imagine that we are standing on top of a tall building. We release a lead weight off the side and watch it fall. It seems to fall faster and faster before it hits the ground. We try pieces of the same shape and different weights and they hit the ground at the same time when released at the same time. This is due to the acceleration of gravity in the absence of air resistance.
