Abstract

The main goal of this chapter is the verification of the Wightman and HaagKastler axioms, including the proof of Theorems 6.1.5–6. We assume that we are given a measure on (Rd) which satisfies the axioms OS0–3 given in Chapter 6. In that chapter we constructed Euclidean field operators ϕ acting on ℰ = L2(, ) and we constructed the Hilbert space of quantum mechanical states as the completion of +/Ν.
