Abstract
While it may be necessary from time to time to use the computational methods of the last chapter in evaluating integrals, we would prefer other methods if they can be made available. It will be the purpose of this chapter to develop some alternatives to the use of RS sums for the evaluation of integrals. It might be worth listing the result of Example (II.5.4), for this could be the first of a list of formulas that would help.
