Abstract

The remodeling and the biofeedback properties of bones have been of substantial interest to the scientist. The goals of these studies have been mainly (1) to determine the real feedback mechanism of bones and (2) to utilize the nature of the feedback system of the bone tissue for accelerating the healing process of fractures and nonunions by artificially introducing a similar environment at the fracture site of the bones.
