Coherent Dynamics and Solitary Waves in Ordered Monolayers

Abstract

In a recent communication(1) we have studied the energy transfer in J-aggregates, and we have shown that the dynamical formation of coherent solitary waves may explain and fit the observations. In this chapter we review and further discuss this topic. In our presentation we closely follow Ref. 1.
