Abstract
The sclerosis of the peritoneal membrane (PM) represents one of the most important problems in long-term continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) treatment, will induce a progressive loss of the ultrafiltration (UF) capacity and the depurative function of the membrane.(1)
