Abstract

Relativity physics, including particles and fields, has come into prominence both with professional scientists and the educated public essentially within the last ten years. In the macroscopic regime, black holes, gravitational radiation, the binary pulsar and the early universe have been subjects of recent intense research activity. On the microscopic level, there has been an intense international effort to try to unify as a single superforce the fundamental interactions of nature. These include gravity and the unification occurs at extremely relativistic energies.
