Abstract
Aluminium in organoaluminium compounds of the type AIR3 and AIR2H can be determined with anhydrous ammonia731. A known weight of the organoaluminium sample is introduced into a nitrogen-filled reaction tube. An excess of ammonia is then passed through the sample. The apparatus is shown in Figure 20.
