Abstract

Marin County sheriff’s detectives arrested a volunteer fire fighter at the scene of a grass fire he is suspected of starting. Marinwood Fire Department volunteer, Randy Williams, 31, was taken into custody when he responded in fire fighting gear to help fight the blaze at an area three blocks from his home. Williams, suspected of arson in several other instances, had been under investigation by Marin County arson investigators and sheriff’s detectives for 14 months.1
