The Bacillus thuringiensis Genetic Systems

  • Chapter
Pathogens of Invertebrates

Part of the book series: Comparative Pathobiology ((CPATH,volume 7))

Abstract

The last few years have seen a major effort to improve the genetics of Bacillus thuringiensis, reminiscent of the tenacity with which Edward A. Steinhaus pursued his early research on this insect pathogen (Steinhaus, 1975). This review is in memory of his dedication to the study of biological control of pests.
