UV-Induced Formation of Polynucleotide-Protein Cross-Linkages as a Tool for Investigation of the Nucleoprotein Structure and Functions

  • Chapter
Trends in Photobiology

Abstract

The functions of nucleic acids, their storage and transfer are realized at the level of nucleoproteins. Therefore one of the fun damental problems of molecular biology and bioorganic chemistry is elucidation of the structure and principles of formation and functioning of nucleoproteins.
